What Horozy is, and isn't

Horozy calculates planetary positions from real astronomical data and uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to write readings from them. Astrology is for reflection and enjoyment. It isn't a science, and nothing here is medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice. Please don't make important decisions on the strength of a reading, and talk to a qualified professional about anything that matters.

AI-written text can be wrong or strange. If a reading says something unhelpful or upsetting, tell us.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and give accurate birth details: readings are only as good as the data they're built from. You're responsible for activity on your account.

Plans and payment

• Free costs nothing. Seeker and Oracle are monthly subscriptions at the prices on the pricing page, including VAT where it applies.
• Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your profile; you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Monthly reading allowances reset at the start of each billing period and don't roll over. One-off readings you've bought don't expire.
• Readings you've had are yours to open free, whatever plan you're on.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. If we change a price we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Cancelling and refunds

UK law normally gives you 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once the content starts being supplied with your agreement, so a reading can't be refunded once it's been written. If you cancel a new subscription within 14 days and haven't used any of its readings, we'll refund you in full. If something we supplied was faulty (a reading that failed or never arrived), we'll put it right or refund it: just ask.

Fair use

Use Horozy for yourself. Don't try to break or overload it, scrape it, get around plan limits, resell readings, or use it to harass anyone (including through compatibility invites). We may suspend accounts that do.

What's ours and what's yours

The site, its design, glyphs and writing are ours. Readings written for you are yours to keep, share and print for personal use. Star positions come from d3-celestial (BSD licence) and place names from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0).

Responsibility

We work hard to keep Horozy accurate and available, but can't promise it will always be either. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for decisions made on the basis of a reading, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why. If we ever shut Horozy down, we'll give you notice and refund any unused paid time.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms in a way that matters we'll tell you by email first. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU you keep the protection of your local consumer law and courts.
